Theale Christmas light switch-on will include festive market

Festive event will take place on Saturday, December 7

Theale has announced the date of its Christmas light switch on for 2024.

The event includes a street fair with market stalls and an early visit from Father Christmas.

Organised by Theale Parish Council, it is an opportunity for independent traders to offer some gift ideas, and seasonal food.

Santa will have a grotto set up so the young can pay a visit and whisper requests in his ear, and there will be carol singing too.

The parish council says there will be a new look to the event, which will take place in Theale High Street.

The date for the diary is Saturday, December 7, between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.
