Twyford Singers to hold Christmas concert on Saturday, December 14

An opportunity to sing carols is being offered by members of Twyford Singers.

The musical group, which rehearses in the village close to Reading, is holding its Christmas concert on Saturday, December 14.

The programme from Twyford Singers will include a selection of seasonal music, both traditional and new, with some carols for the audience to sing along with the choir.

Founded in 1962, the Twyford Singers perform several times a year and usually attracts a strong audience.

There are around 40 members who sing under the direction of Helen Styles, and they also welcome new members who want to join in.

The Twyford Singers Christmas concert will take place at St Mary’s Church in Station Road, Twyford, and the singers will be accompanied by pianist Judith Creighton.

It starts at the early time of 4pm and includes an interval where seasonal refreshments will be available.

Tickets for the concert cost £15 plus a booking fee, and £5 plus a booking fee for under 18s. They are available from ticketsource.co.uk, or on the door.
