When and where can I meet AF Steadman and get Skandar and the Chaos Trials signed?

AF Steadman will be visiting the Reading branch on Waterstones, on Broad Street in the town centre, from 11am on Sunday, February 16.

The signing is due to last an hour.

Staff at Waterstones encourage people to book a ticket in advance to reserve a place in a queue to meet AF Steadman. These cost £7.99, and includes a copy of Skandar and the Chaos Trials, which can be collected on the day.

Parents accompanying children do not need to buy their own ticket.

It is also possible to buy a copy on the day and meet author AF Steadman.

Previous signing events have been hugely popular and queues can go out of the door – so be prepared to wait in line outside, and come dressed for the weather.

And if you want a signed copy but cannot attend, it may be possible to reserve a copy by contacting the store in advance. Staff warn that reserved copies cannot be guaranteed and may not always carry dedications.

All signings (unless otherwise stated) operate on a first come first served basis, so early arrival is often recommended.
