Cheese Fest, a celebration of cheese, is coming to Reading’s Blue Collar Corner this weekend, thanks to a street food spectacle.

The four days of cheesy fun will fuse food, drink and music and delight audiences of all ages.

It starts at 11am on Good Friday and continues all the way through to closing time on Easter Monday, and is dubbed Reading’s biggest cheese extravaganza.

Visitors will be able to try a host of cheese-related food including cheese wheels, mac ‘n’ cheese, loaded cheese toasties, Philly cheesesteaks, halloumi fries, stacked cheese burgers, and cheesy produce galore.

  • MacMan Mac & Cheese
  • The Griddle Guys
  • Mr Pigstuff Quesidillas
  • Sweet Lord Cheesus

It will only be available for the Blue Collar Cheese Fest weekend.

The Cheese Wheel is coming to Reading from Camden Market, making dishes from a giant 40kg wheel of Grana Padano which has to be seen to be believed .. and it tastes great.

The Raclette Truck will ooze warm raclette on to their menu which includes garlic fried potatoes, and bacon loaded fries.

Where is Blue Collar and how do I find out more about Cheese Fest?

Blue Collar is open from 11am to 12.30am on Good Friday, Saturday, and Easter Sunday. It will open again at 11am on Easter Monday, but they will close at the earlier time of 8pm.

The street food venue is in Hosier Street, off St Mary’s Butts and behind Broad St Mall.
