Reading’s Are You Listening? festival is returning to the town centre this weekend, and tickets are still on sale for the musical extravaganza.

There will be two days of music: Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10.

There are several venues taking part, and a wide range of performers too, meaning there will be something to suit most musical tastes.

There is more to Are You Listening? than the music.

This year, there is a team-up with Siren Craft Brew. They will be selling fresh draft pits of lager, ale and cider in both Market Place and Saint Laurence Church.

A charity art auction will be held as well. Artists from Reading and the surrounding areas have been tasked with creating a framed poster for some of the acts performing.

They will be exhibited in Milk, and people invited to make bids on a blind auction basis. Each poster has a reserve price of £30.

Money raised will go to the work of Laura’s Lasting Legacy Charity Fund https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/forlauraj
