The Reading Guild of Artists annual exhibition is an opportunity for its talented members to showcase their work, and give visitors the chance to buy some unique art.

It has has just returned for its 94th year and all of Reading (and beyond) is invited to see the works on show.

The showcase is open daily until Sunday, June 29, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the chosen pieces.

It is being held in the Institute of Education (IoE) at the University’s beautiful cloistered London Road Campus.

The Reading Guild of Artists says this is a large airy space perfect for the huge selection of their paintings, prints, sculptures and ceramics.

The majority of works are for sale, making it the perfect opportunity for visitors to purchase original art by local artists.

Continuing RGA’s historic connections with the University, the group is also offering a series of workshops, open to the public. These cover drawing, painting, collage and print-making, and will be led by expert artists.

The Reading Guild of Artists was founded in 1930. It has a membership of over 200 artists and plays an active role in the development of artists in Reading and the surrounding areas.

This year’s showcase is its 94th.

When is the Reading Guild of Artists’ annual exhibition open?

The Reading Guild of Artists’ exhibition is open every day between 10am and 4pm until Sunday, June 29.

Visitors will be warmly welcomed by guild members at LO4 Art Building in the Institute of Education at the London Road Campus, RG1 5AG (whatthreewords///status.flames.marker).
