Mim Grey live in Newbury – the voice Michael Ball calls ‘the most beautiful in the UK’

Acclaimed British singer-songwriter Mim Grey will perform at Arlington Arts Centre in Newbury this September and tickets are now on sale.

Who is Mim Grey?

Born and raised in North London, Mim Grey is a celebrated singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, renowned for her rich, smoky voice and captivating stage presence.

She has won praise from some of the biggest names in music.

Sir Tom Jones has called her his “favourite singer,” while Michael Ball described her as having “the most beautiful voice to come out of the UK in a very long time.”

Guitarist Robbie McIntosh – who has performed with the likes of John Mayer, Norah Jones, The Pretenders and Sir Paul McCartney – has gone further, calling her “the new female John Mayer”.

Last year, Mim Grey released her third studio album, Garden of Me, co-produced with Robbie McIntosh.

Reflecting on the process, she said: “Creating this album was a truly magical experience. Robbie McIntosh captured the very essence of every song within the recording process.

“The result is an album of music that speaks from the heart, and I am thrilled to share it with the world.”

Following the release, Mim Grey has been touring the country, bringing her heartfelt songs to audiences nationwide, including coming to Newbury this September.

Tickets for Mim Grey at Arlington Arts Centre on Friday, September 19, cost £19 including a booking fee.
