Next month, On The Mount at Wasing returns: bringing live music to some of the finest countryside in England.

Over five nights, some big names will be performing as the sun sets in the woodland amphitheatre that is the Wasing Estate. The aim is to allow people to feel connected not just to the musicians on stage, but to land and creativity.

Organisers say that the audience’s journey begins at the edge of the forest, where a winding path leads visitors through woodland and into the heart of the estate.

As the trees begin to open, the landscape reveals The Mount: a natural amphitheatre carved into the hillside and surrounded by towering woodland.

And then, beneath open skies and encircled by nature, concert-goers experience performances that feel both intimate and expansive.

By stepping away from the pull of technology and into the woodland, audiences are invited into a unique and fully immersive environment where nature amplifies the music, heightening every moment of the live experience.

Who is performing at On The Mount at Wasing 2026?

  • Friday 26 June – Mika
  • Saturday 27 June – Pixies
  • Sunday 28 June – Belle & Sebastian
  • Friday 3 July – Ben Howard
  • Saturday 4 July – Self Esteem

On The Mount at Wasing organisers say the event features curated artists whose music suits a setting where authenticity, artistry and atmosphere naturally combine.

Each show unfolds as evening settles across the landscape, turning The Mount into a shared moment between artist, audience and the natural surroundings, in a setting where the landscape shapes the atmosphere and the night feels quietly magical.

Previous artists to have headlined On The Mount at Wasing include Paolo Nutini, Sigur Ros, Primal Scream, Jungle, Underworld, and Crowded House. Rolling Stone UK has described The Mount at Wasing as ‘the lushest of gig settings’.

The 2026 festival will feature headline performances from MIKA on Friday 26 June, Pixies on Saturday 27 June, Belle & Sebastian on Sunday 28 June, Ben Howard on Friday 3 July, and Self Esteem on Saturday 4 July.

Ollie Rosenblatt, founder and CEO of promoters Senbla and Senior Vice President of Sony Masterworks, says: ‘We are absolutely delighted to be launching our new series at the unique and truly special venue On The Mount at Wasing.

“Marrying the right venue to the right artists is what elevates an outdoor show from being just good, to totally exceptional, and we are confident that the artists we have at Wasing is true to the making of that exceptional marriage.”

This view is shared by Joshua Dugdale, Custodian of Wasing, who says that nature is the cornerstone of everything that Wasing is, adding that it is, at heart, a place for a transformative experience, providing deep connection to the restorative power of the natural world.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome back The Mount for 2026, once again bringing together artists and audiences in deeply powerful musical experiences harmonising both nature and community,” he adds.

“Through our continued partnership with Senbla, we’re proud to present yet another extraordinary line-up of world-class artists and visionary entertainment at our iconic woodland amphitheatre, the Mount.
