Katherine Ryan is a Battleaxe

Comedian sets two dates to bring her latest show to Reading

A Battleaxe is coming to The Hexagon on November, well, at least that’s the name of the show.

Award-winning comedian Katherine Ryan is on tour with her all-new show, following on from 2022’s Missus.

In between, she hasn’t been idle: appearing in the TV show Parental Guidance, an exploration of out-of-the-box parenting ideas and meeting the families who are living them out.

For Comedy Central, she is appearing with Judi Lobe and Rosie Jones in Out of Order. This is a comedy panel show where the contestants are asked to place members of the public in the correct order for a series of categories, such as who earns the most?

As if that wasn’t enough, she created and appeared in the Netflix show The Duchess, and filmed two comedy specials for them.

And for Amazon Prime she hosted Backstage.

A very busy comic.

Her Reading date on Saturday, November 9, will be followed with a second – Thursday, May 29 – to meet demand.

Tickets cost £30.50 or £32.50, and the show is suitable for ages 16 upwards due to its adult nature.
