Miles more Miles Jupp … Comedian to extend tour in 2025

Dates in Henley, Basingstoke and High Wycombe all planned for January and February next year

Due to high demand, comedian Miles Jupp is extending his latest tour, and will perform three dates in theatres close to Reading early next year.

On I Bang has performed to sell-out audiences, and picks up on what has happened to him since he finished his previous tour in 2017.

Yes, there has been some amazing stuff, including playing Emperor Francis I in Ridley Scott’s new film Napoleon, and appearances in The Full Monty on Disney+, The Durrells and Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? on ITV.

And he’s been on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and Have I Got News For You, made an award-winning radio series and published a novel.

But …

One sunny day in the middle of all this, he suddenly suffered a brain seizure.

This led to the discovery of a tumour the size of a cherry tomato, and a rather pressing need to undergo major neurosurgery.

The experience has left him with a story to tell and a few things that he’d like to share with the room.

So that’s exactly what he’s doing in his new show On I Bang – a tale about surprise, fear, luck, love and qualified medical practitioners.

He will perform it at the Kenton Theatre in Henley on Thursday, January 23.

A day later, on Friday, January 24, he will be at the Haymarket in Basingstoke.

Tickets for this gig cost £27, and can be reserved from the Anvil Arts website, https://www.anvilarts.org.uk/book/instance/583801

And on Tuesday, February 11, he will be at the Wycombe Swan in High Wycombe.

Tickets cost £29, and can be reserved from its website, https://booking.trafalgartickets.com/en/wycombe-swan-theatre/buyingflow/tickets/28303/
