Fans of the late jazz and soul icon can experience her most famous work performed live as her original musicians bring a special anniversary show to nearby Surrey.

The Amy Winehouse Band – the original group who stood alongside the singer from her early London pub gigs through to her global superstardom – have announced a major UK tour. The run of dates marks the 20th anniversary of the defining 2006 album Back to Black.

The album was a transformative moment in British music, earning Amy five Grammy Awards in a single night in 2008. Now, led by her long-standing musical director and bass player Dale Davis, the band is keeping her legacy alive for both original fans and a new generation of listeners.

A tribute to a timeless classic

The 2026 tour will see the band perform Back to Black in its entirety, alongside other hits from Amy’s catalogue. Dale Davis, who recorded and toured with Amy throughout her career, recalled the singer’s own confidence in the work:

“When I congratulated Amy on the success of this incredible album, she said to me, not with any arrogance: ‘I knew what I was doing’, and at that moment, I realised that she knew exactly what she had created.”

When is The Amy Winehouse Band coming to Reading, and how can I get tickets?

While the tour covers much of the UK, the closest performance for local fans will be at G Live in Guildford on Thursday, 5 November 2026.

The show is scheduled to start at 7.30pm. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, 20 February at 10am via Ticketmaster.co.uk.
