Fans of the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show are being invited to do the Time Warp once again as Norden Farm Centre for the Arts celebrates the film’s 50th anniversary.
The event will be hosted by Jeff Lloyd, who will lead what is described as a full-contact cinematic ritual.
Attendees will be armed with a variety of props, including water pistols, toast, rice, glowsticks, party horns, playing cards, rubber gloves, party hats, and newspapers, as they celebrate the famous musical.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show, originally released in 1975, is an iconic musical comedy-horror film based on the 1973 stage musical.
It was written by Jim Sharman and Richard O’Brien (later the host of The Crystal Maze), with O’Brien also starring in the supporting role of Riff Raff. The film serves as a tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies from the 1930s to the early 1960s and also stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, and Barry Bostwick.
While the film was initially ignored by critics, it gained a dedicated following after audiences began participating in screenings at the Waverly Theatre in New York.
This screening is particularly significant, as the film was originally shot nearby at Bray Studios.
Today, The Rocky Horror Picture Show holds the record as the longest-running theatrical release in film history.

The 50th anniversary screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show takes place at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Altwood Road, Maidenhead, SL6 4PF.
The event is scheduled for Saturday 7 March at 8pm.
While Maidenhead is situated just outside Reading, the venue is easily accessible for Reading residents via a short train journey to Maidenhead railway station followed by a taxi or bus to the arts centre. There is also parking on site.
