Gratis Choir welcomes you to our Autumn 2024 concert. This will be a fun afternoon of songs from the 1960s and 1970s, including a complete performance of Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo, a children’s cantata composed by Joseph Horovitz with text by Michael Flanders. As always, the concerts are FREE and you do not need a ticket. Just turn up and enjoy the music. Come at 3:15pm for tea/coffee and cake, followed by an hour’s trip down our musical memory lane (…or should that be Penny Lane?). Music director: Jeremy Rawson. Gratis Choir is a chamber choir based in Reading, England. Our concerts are normally in a local church or other venue which wants to raise money for a good cause, through a retiring collection.
