Streetpunk is a universal language… and it’s coming to Reading thanks to Los Fastidios

Club Velocity and New Mind Promotions team up to organise night of music at The Face Bar

Streetpunk is coming to Reading via Italy thanks to Los Fastidios.

Club Velocity and New Mind Promotions are preparing to host a performance by the band who are always on tour.

Los Fastidios mix classic 80s British Punk-Oi! sounds with skanking moments, rock ‘n’ roll and hardcore rhythms.

To cap it off, songs are in Italian, English, French, Spanish and German: a veritable United Nations of punk.

Club Velocity says their lyrics deal with everything from cheerful street situation to social issues, such as battles against racism-fascism and any form of discrimination, for the animal rights, for freedom and against the capitalistic system.

For their gig, they will be joined by The Deckchairs, a long-standing Reading band who deal with the finest punk rock this side of New York City.

The fun takes place from 8pm on Tuesday, November 5, at The Face Bar in Ambrose Place, off Chatham Street.

Tickets cost £14.30 including a booking fee.
