Meryl Streek brings his politically charged brand of Irish punk to The Face Bar. The Dublin-based artist, originally from the West of England, released his critically acclaimed debut album, 796, in 2022.
The album earned him a nomination for Irish Album of the Year and was lauded for its raw, unfiltered commentary on social issues.
His music is a blend of punk rock with a unique electronic twist. He often samples speeches and incorporates elements of industrial music, creating a powerful and intense sound. His live shows are known for their high energy and passionate delivery.
Joining Meryl Streek is Reading-based band Soapbox. Their music is a blend of rock, folk, and indie, with a sound that has earned them a loyal local following.
