It wants to foster appreciation for Caribbean arts and traditions while providing opportunities for collaboration and engagement.
The carnival has been held on and off in Reading since 1977, and sees people wear traditional Caribbean clothes while taking part. A procession has been held along Oxford Road, while a party has been held in Prospect Park.
Plans for 2025 have yet to be revealed.
A steel pan created by Herman Philbert for the event is on display in Reading Musuem.
