Giovanni Pernice – who teamed up with Debbie McGee on Strictly – is bringing The Last Dance to Reading in 2025

Tour heading to The Hexagon in January

Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice is preparing to come to The Hexagon in Reading this January.

He teamed up with Debbie McGee in the 2017, with the duo reaching the final of the BBC One contest which pairs celebrities with professional dancers.

And in 2021, he helped EastEnders actor Rose Ayling-Ellis to lift the Glitterball trophy, so he knows how to do a paso doble, a waltz and a quickstep.

What can people expect from Giovanni Pernice’s new show, The Last Dance?

For the show, Giovanni Pernice will be joined by a company of world class performers for an evening that is described as “a mesmerising production that transcends the boundaries of live performance”.

In addition to the evening of dancing, there is the option to meet Giovanni ahead of the show.

What happens at the VIP Meet and Greet event?

A meet and greet costs £130.50, and enables people to meet Giovanni Pernice before the show begins.

Those with this VIP ticket are asked to arrive by 5.20pm on Wednesday, January 22.

They will have an opportunity to spend time with the dancer, and have their photo taken with him. He will also sign autographs.

In addition to this experience, people will enjoy a premium show ticket and have a VIP lanyard to wear.

I can’t get enough of Giovanni … when else can I see him?

The Strictly star is planning a second visit to Reading in 2025, and this time he’s bringing company with him.

Anton & Giovanni – Together Again will be performed at The Hexagon on Friday, June 13, from 7.30pm.

Lucky for some, the show sees Giovanni team up with Anton Du Beke for an all-new show.

Organisers are promising more fun, more dance, more song and even more entertainment than ever before, thanks to a collection of breathtaking routines, stunning choreography, and a blend of ballroom, latin and musical theatre dances.

They add: “The show will be an enthralling experience for all ages, showcasing the duo’s incredible talents and irresistible chemistry on stage.”

Tickets for this show are also on sale, and cost £44.50, £53.50, and £59.50.

And there’s more Anton too…

The star will be making a solo visit to The Hexagon, on Thursday, March 4, again from 7.30pm.

This show is called Anton Du Beke at the Musicals, and features a guest appearance from Lance Ellington, and performances from Anton’s house band.

Organisers say audiences can expect a glamorous evening from classic West End and Broadway shows, and behind the scenes stories from Anton’s time on Strictly Come Dancing that will have you laughing out loud.

There will be songs and dances from Anton’s favourite musicals, in a show packed with glamour, excitement, and pure entertainment.

Tickets for this show are also on sale, and cost £40.50, £46.50, and £54.50.
