Wild things will be delighted to hear the music of Jimi Hendrix thanks to the return of Voodoo Room to Newbury’s Arlington Arts Centre this weekend.

Indeed, such is the demand to see the group perform it has sold out, and some returns may be available.

What can people attending Voodoo Room expect?

As well as celebrating the music of Jimi Hendrix, the evening will also feature performances of tracks by Eric Clapton and Cream.

Voodoo Room are a stunning high energy Power Trio featuring some of the U.K.’s finest musicians whose credits include performing with: Steve Winwood, Massive Attack, Arthur Brown, Fish, Thunder, Lulu etc.

They promise no wigs, no pantomime –  just great music played by great musicians.

Praise for them has come from Neneh Cherry who says they are incredible musicians, while Radio Caroline described them as absolutely incredible. Time Out say they are superb and Blues In The South magazine think they are outstanding.

How do I get tickets for Voodoo Room and how much are they?

Tickets are sold out, but a waiting list is in operation.

If available, they cost £20 plus a £1 booking fee each, and they can be purchased from the Arlington Arts Centre website at any time or from the box office, in person or over the phone, during opening hours of 10am to 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays.

The venue box office and bar accept both card and cash payments.

Please note that there is no cash machine on site.
