Father’s Day: Finchampstead brewery prepares perfect gift for beer lovers  

With Father’s Day coming up on Sunday, June 15, a Finchampstead brewery has prepared something that could take away the chore of present hunting.

Siren Craft Brew, which runs the George & Dragon in Swallowfield and the Siren RG1 bar in Reading town centre, is building on the success of its sold-out Craft Beer Advent Calendar, which it offered in the run-up to Christmas last year.

The team at Siren says their Beer Toolbox beats the generic beer sets you may see for sale elsewhere, which contain three generic beers with funny names such as Toilet Time, Dads Shed IPA, and Afternoon Snooze.

Instead, Siren Craft Brew’s Beer Toolbox features 10 different beers all handcrafted from their Finchampstead-based brewery (which has its tap room, so you can taste them fresh).

The innovative packaging is in the shape of a toolbox, and includes two trays for tools: the beers, space to write a message, and a snack.

Siren Craft Brew has some other gift ideas for Father’s Day, including Dad’s Beer Gift Boxes. There are two varieties: a Light Beer and a Dark Beer. Each comprise four full-size cans, a pint glass and a packet of Scampi Fries.

And if you must get socks, Siren’s are made from Bamboo-soft fabric, and feature Siren art. Perfect all year round and not just Father’s Day.

The Siren web shop also has jigsaw puzzles, and the option to build your own case based on favourite beers.
