Nineteen more acts have been announced for Readipop Fiesta 2025, including former Shamen frontman Mr C.

The all-day fundraiser at the University of Reading Students’ Union will be headlined by the Reading rockers The Amazons, who will now be joined by Mr C, rock sisters Baby Said, and singer-songwriter Ben Marwood.

The 14-hour event on Saturday, September 13, will see a host of local acts across five stages.

These include drum and bass legend Roni Size, Liverpudlian female three-piece Stealing Sheep and iconic disco darling Vanity Fairy.

What Readipop says about the event

Readipop founder Gavin Lombos, said: “All of us at Readipop are immensely proud of what Readipop Festival has become since it launched in 2016 and of the large, diverse section of the local community that it has brought together annually since then.

“However, the costs of building a festival site from scratch and running a three-day event has increased hugely in the last few years and seriously threaten our ability to continue Readipop Festival.

“By hosting our Readipop Fiesta event on one day this September at Reading University Students Union, we can continue to bring a strong line-up of musical talent to Reading while showcasing great local performers and giving attendees the chance to try different instruments, including classic drum machines and synthesisers, for themselves in our daytime workshops.”

All the profits go to the Readipop music charity.

Tier 1 tickets are now sold out but Tier 2 tickets for the event, which runs from noon to 2am, can be bought here
