A high-energy power trio celebrating the music of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Cream is set to perform in Maidenhead this month.
Voodoo Room: A Night of Hendrix, Clapton and Cream arrives at the Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Friday, 20 March.
The band comprises experienced UK session musicians whose collective credits include work with Steve Winwood, Massive Attack, Duran Duran, and Thunder.
The trio are: guitarist Peter Orr, drummer John Tonks, and bassist Jevon Beaumont.
Orr has spent nearly three decades performing across the UK and Europe, while Tonks is a well known composer and musical director. Beaumont previously spent 10 years performing as John Paul Jones in a leading Led Zeppelin tribute act.
The performance focuses on the music rather than costumes, with the band priding themselves on a no wigs and no pantomime approach.
The setlist is expected to include classic rock staples such as Hey Joe, Sunshine of Your Love, Purple Haze, and Layla. The event is suitable for all ages.
