The steaks* are high and one roll of the dice could change everything: Mediterranevm Bray is inviting visitors to take part in a fun game that could see their bill waived.

Forget eggs being sunny side up. If the dice land on Mediterranevm Bray side up, they will cover the bill in a special promotion launching on Tuesday, 5 May, and running for a fortnight.

The Mediterranevm Bray is a riverside restaurant located in Bray Marina, and offers authentic Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. The menu showcases a variety of Greek meze, fresh seafood, pasta, and grilled dishes, bringing the flavours and warmth of the Mediterranean to the English countryside.

With its peaceful backdrop of the River Thames, it can be reached by a scenic walk and features a bright, open-top conservatory. With the warmer weather now here, it is a perfect place to enjoy a treat – and close your eyes and you could imagine that you are actually in the Med and not Bray.

*The steak on the menu at the Mediterranevm Bray includes Bistecca, a 40-day Himalayan salt-aged 10oz prime British beef rib-eye steak, served with hand-cut chips. It can be served with an optional sauce of wild mushrooms and truffle, peppercorn, or barolo sauce.

If that’s not to your taste, the menu includes fish dishes, and a Vegan Feast: King oyster mushrooms, asparagus, heritage carrots, beetroots, asparagus velouté, celeriac purée.

What is the Mediterranevm Bray: Roll and Win a Free Meal?

Mediterranevm Bray’s Roll the Dice challenge, offering diners the chance to have their bill settled by the restaurant. That means winners will be able to dine for free.

The promotion runs from Tuesday, 5 May – the day after the bank holiday – and only applies to people who dine between 6pm and 9pm.

At the end of their meal, in addition to the bill, they will be given a dice to roll. If it lands on the face housing the Mediterranevm Bray’s logo they will and the full bill for the table is covered. There are some terms and conditions: it’s strictly one roll per table, once the bill has been requested. The maximum party size is eight and that includes children.

If the table is a winner, it is only the items ordered before the dice roll that counts: anything ordered afterwards must be paid for. The service charge is not included and the Mediterranevm Bray team say they hope winners will still pay this as a way of thanking their service team.

There are some other terms and conditions available from the restaurant.

The Mediterranevm Bray’s owner, Daniel, is looking forward to welcoming people for the promotion, saying that if they choose the luckiest person at the table to take the roll and, with a bit of fortune on their side, the party can enjoy a feast of Mediterranean dishes without touching their wallets.

“I hope people enjoy this fun little challenge of ours,” he says. “We’d love for everyone to come down, take part, and see if Lady Luck is on their side.”

Where is the Mediterranevm Bray and how can people book a table?

Mediterranevm Bray is at Bray Marina, Monkey Island Lane, Bray, Berkshire SL6 2EB.

It is open noon to 3pm and 5pm to 10pm Wednesday to Friday, and from noon to 10pm on Saturdays, and noon to 9pm on Sundays. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
