Based on interviews with community members central to the scene, the show will explore the stories and sounds of Reading’s Soundsystem heyday: the mid-1970s.
A uniquely Reading show that celebrates some of the town’s pioneers, who create a musical collective that ends up being a country-wide experience.
This immersive show, created for a standing audience, explores The Sound, and Reading’s role at the epicentre of a cultural phenomenon.
Staged as a theatrical sound system night, expect great music, drama and a bit of magical Reading history.
