Reading is set to host its first Cocktail Week this summer, offering a 10-day celebration of the town’s vibrant hospitality scene.

From Friday, 3 July to Sunday, 12 July 2026, a curated collection of local bars, restaurants and clubs will offer hand-crafted cocktails priced between £5 and £7 exclusively for event wristband holders.

The initiative is designed to encourage residents and visitors to reconnect with favourite venues or discover new spots through signature drinks and mocktails.

The event is being delivered in partnership between Reading BID and M.ad Agency, which organises similar festivals across the UK.

Participating venues already confirmed include:

  • Milk Bar
  • Boom Battle Bar
  • Spill Bar
  • Cosy Club
  • The Cocktail Club
  • The Rising Sun

More locations are expected to be announced in the coming months. Each venue will serve a signature cocktail and a non-alcoholic mocktail, ensuring the event is welcoming and sociable for everyone.

Alexa Volker, Manager of Reading BID (Business Improvement District), part of REDA, said: “Reading’s vibrant nighttime economy has so much to offer and we’re pleased to be working with M-ad to shine a light on our fantastic cocktail scene.

“We look forward to welcoming you to our venues.”

The event is delivered in partnership with M.ad Agency, organisers of Cocktail Week events across the UK.

Director Alice Christison said they were thrilled to bring Cocktail Week to Reading this July and promised to make something memorable.

“Reading’s hospitality scene is something special and we’re looking forward to working closely with local venues to create something that feels welcoming, sociable and distinctly ‘Reading’.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for people to explore the town in a different way — I’d encourage everyone to grab those early bird tickets while they last.”

When is Reading Cocktail Week coming to Reading, and how can I get tickets?

Reading Cocktail Week takes place from 3 July to 12 July 2026.

To access the discounted drinks and exclusive offers, participants must purchase a wristband.
