Musicians who performed alongside Amy Winehouse during her career have extended their current tour, adding several dates within easy travelling distance of Reading, due to significant ticket demand.

The Amy Winehouse Band’s tour serves as a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the studio album Back to Black, originally released in 2006. The record transformed the late British singer into a prominent international star and led to five wins at the 2008 Grammy Awards ceremony, including record of the year and song of the year.

The ensemble is led by long-time musical director and bass player Dale Davis, and comprises instrumentalists who toured and recorded with Amy Winehouse from her early performances in London venues through to her major concert appearances.

The live shows feature a complete performance of the Back to Black album, alongside a selection of other well-known tracks from her musical catalogue.

The 2026 leg of the tour will travel across the UK throughout autumn, including a regional appearance at G Live in Guildford this November.

The schedule concludes with a homecoming performance at the Roundhouse venue in Camden Town on 18 December 2026 – a real Christmas cracker.

The 2027 extension will encompass more than 50 dates across England, Wales, and Scotland, and includes the Wycombe Swan in High Wycombe and The Anvil in Basingstoke.

On the upcoming Back to Black 20th anniversary tour, Dale says: “I can’t believe that it’s the 20th anniversary of Back To Black this year.

“When I congratulated Amy on the success of this incredible album, she said to me, not with any arrogance: ‘I knew what I was doing’, and at that moment, I realised that she knew exactly what she had created.

“It’s still an honour, pleasure and privilege to be performing these songs, from this timeless classic.”

The touring group previously completed a sold-out run of concerts in the United Kingdom during 2025, alongside international festival dates across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
