Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra’s forthcoming spring concert: Save £2 with early bird tickets

The Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra is set to perform at All Saints Church in Wokingham on Saturday, March 29, at 7.30pm.

Among the programme’s highlights will be the much-loved Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony, which features in the soundtrack of the popular family movie Babe.

Special discount on Early Bird tickets

Music enthusiasts can benefit from an automatic £2 discount per ticket if booked by midnight on Sunday, February 9.

These early bird tickets are £13, while tickets purchased from Monday, February 10, onwards will be £15.

Admission is free for those aged 18 and under.

The Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra will welcome organist David Pether as their special guest

David Pether, a well-known organist who has played for numerous services, ceremonies, and recitals across Berkshire, will join the orchestra for the performance of Saint-Saëns symphony.

He will perform on the recently refurbished organ at All Saints Church.

And there is to be a diverse programme of 20th century compositions

In addition to the Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony, the concert programme will include Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes of Weber and Britten’s Soirées Musicales based on melodies by Rossini.

The evening will conclude with Britten’s Symphonic Suite from Gloriana.
