Downes and Beer at Nettlebed Folk Club

Phil Beer, the club’s patron, is back with his original duo partner, Paul Downes.
They first appeared as Downes & Beer at Nettlebed in the late 70s and reunited for a part in the club’s 50th-anniversary show.
Their last album was actually recorded live at Nettlebed, capturing the atmosphere of a reunion gig that took place on a “dark and stormy Monday night” in early 2007.
