Eyes down for musical bingo night at Loddon Brewery

It’s eyes down for a full house, for an evening of musical fun.

Loddon Brewery in Dunsden Green is to hold a bingo night on Saturday, November 2.

But this is no ordinary bingo night … singer/songwriter Sion Whiley is presenting Music Bingo.

There will be lyrics instead of numbers, and live music will be performed.

Organisers are promising multiple games with plenty of prizes to be won.

After the games there will be more live music to enjoy.

The taproom’s heated decking area will be open, and the kitchen will be taking meal orders.

Known as Proper Kitchen, the premise is ‘proper food, done well’ with fresh, local produce used in the dishes.

It is an ever-changing menu including wood-fired pizzas, burgers and pizzas.

Places cost £10 each, and the event will raise funds for the Royal Berks Charity, which acts on behalf of the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

Loddon Brewery is a 20-barrel brew plant built into a 300-year-old barn and can produce nearly 30,000 pints every week.

It has won multiple awards including, in 2020, the CAMRA Champion Winter Beer of Britain for its Hocus Pocus, Gold, Old Ale and Strong Mild.

Its shop includes bottles and cans of its popular beers with free home delivery available for selected postcodes.

Beers include Hullabaloo, a bitter; Ferryman’s Gold golden ale; Citra Quad, a session IPA; and Hocus Pocus Old Ale.

It also has gluten free Al Fresco pale ale.

Brewery tours are also available.

For the really keen, it offers a lifetime membership, offering 10% discount on all products, discounts on pints and free entry to a Henley Hawks game.
