Readifolk: Skinner & T’witch
Sunday, December 7 at 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM

A Leeds-based duo performing folk, flamenco and theatre-style songs, with driving rhythms, intense harmonies and inspiring lyrics.
Steve Skinner’s background in musical theatre saw him managing a theatre company and touring the country with shows including The Cuts Show and The Third World Road Show. He is also a seasoned songwriter, with a flair for comedy and satire captured on his solo album Spend, Spend, Spend. As a guitarist, Steve has a deep love of flamenco, and his arranging skills also extend to world music projects such as the band Fusion.
Sandra Twitchett, known as T’witch, contributes her classical training and experience as a member of the Huddersfield Choral Society. Passionate about British folk and rock, she adds a keen ear for harmonies and production that shape the duo’s distinctive sound. Her earlier recording project Tales, with Mike Jordan (“The Woodman”), showcased her versatility across folk and rock traditions.
Together, Skinner & T’witch create performances that are musically adventurous, witty, and filled with character – drawing audiences in with their unique sound and compelling stage presence.
