West Forest Sinfonia chamber music concert

Members of West Forest Sinfonia return to South Hill Park with an afternoon of chamber music.
The programme will feature a variety of ensembles showcasing the versatility of the orchestra’s players, with string quartets and larger groups taking centre stage.
For this performance, the programme includes Arnold Bax’s String Quartet, performed by Christina Beales, Karen Burgess, Sue Black and Jackie Ratcliff.
The West Forest Sinfonia concert will conclude with Mendelssohn’s Octet for Strings, featuring Christina Beales, James Ranson, Molly Richetta, Amanda Sadler, Giles Wade, Robert Spencer, Clare Spencer and Alison Wagland.
Founded in 1987, West Forest Sinfonia has built a strong reputation across Berkshire and the surrounding area.
Under the baton of Philip Ellis, the orchestra stages four orchestral concerts each year alongside a regular chamber series at South Hill Park.
