All Screwed Up: Simon Brodkin prepares for night of stand-up at The Hexagon

He’s on tour with his hit show for the fourth time, and The Hexagon in Reading is firmly on his list.

Simon Brodkin is bringing his Screwed Up show to town and is promising a night of stand-up as himself.

The comic recently became the most viewed British stand-up comedian on TikTok, racking up an impressive 17.7 million likes for his videos.

His routine, about climate change, was viewed more than 40 million times, breaking all records.

A familiar face on our television screens, he made an appearance of the Royal Variety Performance.

And Simon will certainly be familiar to you even if you haven’t seen his stand-up yet … he has created some impressive stunts over the years that have made headlines.

They include handing Theresa May a P45 at a Conservative Party conference while she was making her speech.

Other stunts included showering the former FIFA president Sepp Blatter with bank notes during a football press conference, and training on the pitch with Manchester City.

He also managed to surround Donald Trump with hundreds of specially branded golf balls, featuring a Swastika. For this, Simon had infiltrated the politician’s golf resort in Scotland.

As a result, he was arrested and said that while Trump wanted to press charges, he was sent on a flight straight back to London.

And Simon is also the genius behind the happy-go-lucky comedy character Lee Nelson.

For his new show, Screwed Up, Simon will explore a wide range of topics.
They include celebrity culture, social media, the police, Putin, Prince Andrew and why he thinks Winston Churchill was no better than a coked-up Millwall fan.

For the show, Simon says nothing is off limits, including his own mental health, his family, his five arrests, and how he found himself at an underground sex party.

Simon Brodkin’s Screwed Up is coming to The Hexagon on Friday, November 8, from 8pm.

Tickets cost £26, and the show is suitable for ages 14 upwards.
