Paul Smith, one of the UK’s most in-demand stand-up comedians, is set to appear on cinema screens across Reading this spring.

known for his viral crowd work clips and sold-out arena tours, will release his hit show Paul Smith: Pablo Live in over 350 cinemas nationwide from Friday 17 April.

The special was filmed in front of a capacity crowd at the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin.

It marks the first time the comedian’s stand-up has been released for a big-screen cinema event.

The 85-minute show features the quick-fire audience “roasting” that has earned Smith millions of followers online, alongside stories about his everyday life and parenting.

Smith has bypassed the traditional television panel show route to success, instead building a loyal fanbase through the live circuit and social media.

His rise from club comic to arena headliner has seen him challenge box office records previously held by some of the most established names in British comedy.

The cinema release, distributed by CinemaLive, aims to bring that live atmosphere to local audiences. The show is known for being unfiltered and is likely to contain adult themes and strong language.

When is Paul Smith: Pablo Live coming to Reading, and how can I get tickets?

Paul Smith: Pablo Live will be screened in Reading cinemas from Friday 17 April 2026.

Participating local venues typically include the Vue Cinema at The Oracle, and the Showcase Cinema de Lux at Winnersh.

Members of the public can book their seats through the official event website at www.paulsmithincinemas.com or via the websites of local cinema providers.
