Sophie Duker is making it her new year resolution to head to Norden Farm Centre For The Arts and warm up her new show But Daddy, I Love Her.

And fans will not have long to wait for her set: the early doors performance will be on Wednesday, January 15, from 8pm.

Sophie says But Daddy I Love Her sees her take the stage with her trademark naughtiness.

This time she’s arguing that we should all choose silliness over common sense and hot wet fantasies over cold, bleak reality.

In this intentionally unhinged hour, delulu is the solulu.

Who is Sophie Duker?

Sophie has performed and hosted masterclasses in stand-up comedy and improv internationally, in locations as diverse as New York, Utrecht and Accra.

She won the 2021 Funny Women Best Comedy Writer Award, as voted by producers, head writers and executives across the industry.

As well as regularly gag-writing for other world-class comedians, Sophie has written for shows as varied as The BAFTAs, Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle, Spitting Image, Famalam and Horrible Histories.

On telly, Sophie has appeared on Taskmaster, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg, Great Pottery Throw Down, Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and many more.

In 2023, Sophie won the PinkNews Award for Entertainer of The Year after being nominated alongside artists including Sam Smith, Rosie Jones, Self-Esteem and Rina Sawayama.

Two shows she starred in (Taskmaster series 13 and Biscuitland) were BAFTA-nominated for 2023.

How much are tickets to Sophie Duker and how do I get them?
