Elvana is set to bring a unique blend of rock and roll and grunge to Reading, performing at The Hexagon. The group features an Elvis Presley frontman leading a tribute to Nirvana, described by the band as pure electrified chaos from the bowels of Disgraceland.

The performance combines rockabilly swagger with the raw energy of grunge: the 1950s meets the 1990s in explosive style.

Audiences can expect Nirvana tracks mashed together with Elvis Presley classics, featuring overdriven riffs and hip-shaking grooves. Expect overdriven riffs, hip-shaking grooves, loud guitars, louder screams, and the kind of mash-ups that feel wrong until they feel absolutely perfect. It smells like cheeseburgers and teen spirit, daddy-o.

The show has received critical acclaim, with NME describing the experience as absolutely epic – well, they may have chucked an F-bomb into that description, such is their appreciation. As such, Elvana have built a reputation as one of the wildest live experiences on the planet. Even Billy Idol joked that if Elvis were still around, he’d probably be covering Nirvana anyway.
