Readipop has shared the full artist line-up and event details for its upcoming electronic music showcase, Readipop presents: XOX 2026, taking place this June.

The free evening brings together prominent names from the UK’s electronic music open mic community alongside visuals and documentary film.

Movement 81

Swansea-based audiovisual innovators Movement81 will make their Reading debut, bringing their acclaimed blend of indie synth and dance music.

Known on the EMOM circuit for hosting Lemontronic EMOM, they have previously supported acts such as Max Cooper and Plaid.

London modular synth artist Mentat will deliver an improvised live set of evolving techno and progressive house using a compact modular rig.

Bloco Electrohed

The night will also feature the debut performance of Bloco Electrohed, a newly formed live electronic drumming supergroup consisting of XOX members Electrohed, Projected Form, and BIGBOXlittlebox.

Sophie Sirota

Sophie Sirota is ready to create some interesting soundscapes

The line-up is completed by Sophie Sirota, who creates evolving ambient soundscapes using strings, vocals, effects, and live looping.

A year in the life of RG EMOM

Halfway through the live music, the venue will host the premiere screening of A Year in the Life of RG EMOM, a mini-documentary by BAFTA-winning filmmaker Matt Hulse capturing the local electronic community over the past 12 months.

When is Readipop presents: XOX 2026 coming to Reading, and how can I get tickets?

The showcase takes place on Saturday, 13 June for audiences aged 18 and over. Doors open at 6pm, the first live act begins at 6.30pm, the film screening takes place midway through the live acts, and live music concludes at 11pm.

The Readipop XOX team will provide DJ sets from 11pm until the venue closes at 1am.

The venue for the showcase is Oakford Social Club, Blagrave Street, Reading, RG1 1PZ.
