Organisers of a family friendly show coming to The Hexagon have issued a warning: The Ministry of Science Live is about to explode onto the stage.

And they say it comes with a bang, a whoosh, and a hovercraft which is built on stage … and also a human canon too.

It is, they add, 100% Educational, 200% Entertaining, 300% Explosive and 400% Fun and is perfect for a Saturday afternoon.

Coming direct from London’s West End, the Ministry of Science team are showcasing how science has led the way in getting our lives back to normal.

The presenters will take a deep dive into the world of science, with some loud bangs along the way.

The show will include 20ft liquid nitrogen clouds, exploding oxygen and hydrogen balloons, fire tornados, hydrogen bottle rockets, ignited methane and more.

There is a serious side too, looking at the links between Buzz Aldrin and Virgin Galactic, cat food tins and hovercrafts, how methane was discovered and how batteries were invented, and … well, that would be telling wouldn’t it.

The Ministry of Science team say audiences can join the super talented presenters and the voiceover from above (X Factor’s Peter Dickson) as they take you on a journey using brilliantly designed demonstrations with a few loud bangs to lead the way.

Fingers in ears advised…
