How to save money on Circus Wonderland, coming to Reading this half-term

Prospect Park the venue for a week of merriment and entertainment

The circus is coming to Reading this half-term.

A big top is to be erected in Prospect Park, ready to be packed with audiences looking forward to a show packed with fun and daredevil spectacles.

The show is all-new for 2024, and will see the return of merry maker Chico the clown.

Acts on show come from all over the world and will include acrobatic displays, motorcycle stunts, juggling and plenty of laughter.

When will the circus be in Reading?

The shows will be performed from Thursday, October 24, through to Sunday, November 3.

The following days, all tickets are £9:

  • Thursday, October 24
  • Friday, October 25
  • Tuesday, October 29
  • Wednesday, October 30
  • Thursday, October 31.

Showtimes

Shows are performed at different times on different days.

On October 24 and 25, it starts at 4.30pm and 7.30pm.

On both Saturdays (October 26 and November 2), shows are 2pm and 5pm.

Sunday, October 27, the fun starts at 1pm and 4pm.

During half-term week (Tuesday, October 29, through to Friday, November 1) shows are 3pm and 7pm.

The final performance is on Sunday, November 3, at 1pm.

How to get tickets

Tickets can be bought from an on-site box office that will be in Prospect Park, off Lienbenrood Road, from Tuesday, October 15.

This is open from 10am to 8pm.

How to save money on weekend shows

For the shows not part of the £9 ticket deal, there is a £5 discount voucher which is available in shops across Reading.

It can also be downloaded from Circus Wonderland’s website.

One voucher covers the whole party.
