Award-winning Motown act Soul Kinda Wonderful return to Norden Farm this January

An award-winning tribute to The Four Tops and The Temptations will perform at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts this month, as Soul Kinda Wonderful arrive on Thursday, January 23.

The quartet features Richie Sampson, formerly in The Drifters.

Richie is the founder of the group drawing from years of experience, performing with the likes of The Drifters members Billy Lewis, Roy G Hemmings, Peter Lamar and Butch Leake. He is also the frontman of the British soul group The Foundations.

The group has performed for A-list celebrities including Tom Cruise, David Beckham, Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Trevor McDonald and many more.

They were hailed as the top tribute to The Drifters in 2013, 2016 and 2017 by the Agency’s Association GB.

What can people expect from Soul Kinda Wonderful

They says they breathe new life into well-known songs, so audiences can expect to hear Heard It Through the Grapevine, Love Train, My Girl, Dancing on The Ceiling and many more classic tracks.

With more than a decade of experience of playing together, Soul Kinda Wonderful rekindle the magic in classic songs.

They say the songs are guaranteed to get the audience dancing with well-known lyrics, enticing rhythms and nostalgic memories.

This is a chance to re-live that splendid era of Soul and Motown at its very best and don’t forget your dancing shoes!
