Blues-rock heavyweights King King will bring their world-class musicianship to Arlington Arts Centre in Newbury this weekend, joined by special guest Laura Evans.
When frontman Alan Nimmo strides out on stage this Friday wearing his trademark kilt, fists in the air and a grin as wide as the Clyde, audiences know they’re in for something special, all before the first note has even been played.
King King say they have built their reputation on hard work and musical excellence rather than hype.
And refusing to rest on past success, Alan says the band continues to push for more, with stronger songs, tighter shows and even greater connection with fans. His dedication has paid off, with a string of sold-out performances and acclaim from critics and fellow musicians alike.

After two years that left much of the live music scene struggling, the band have emerged revitalised with a new line-up and even more fire in their sound.
Alan’s brother Stevie Nimmo has joined on guitar and vocals, bringing fresh dynamics and rich harmonies to the mix. They’re joined by Jonny Dyke on keys, Andrew Scott on drums and Zander Greenshields on bass, a lineup that many fans say is the band’s best yet.
As Alan puts it through his music, King King aren’t content to ride the wave, they’re determined to make it bigger.
