Nickelodeon, GEA Live, and Senbla have announced that Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert will return for an expansive 20th-anniversary tour in autumn 2026.
This special edition of the global hit show offers a two-hour visual and auditory journey through all three seasons of the beloved animated series.
Since debuting in February 2005, Avatar: The Last Airbender has grown into a cultural phenomenon. The concert experience elevates Emmy Award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman’s legendary score, featuring taiko drums, erhu, and soaring strings, by replacing the recorded soundtrack with a live orchestra performing in perfect synchronisation with the action on screen.
A cinematic experience for Team Avatar
The tour has already reached significant milestones, selling over 400,000 tickets worldwide. This 20th-anniversary edition includes new artistic elements and surprises designed specifically for this run.
Composer Jeremy Zuckerman expressed his excitement for the tour:
“When I started work on Avatar: The Last Airbender, it was a dream to have the music performed by an orchestra. Now, over 20 years later, with the concert tour, that dream has come true in a way I never could have imagined.”
When is Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert coming to Reading, and how can I get tickets?
