Reading’s newest venue, the social darts bar Flight Club, is inviting people to think of football this summer.
The venue, off Friar Street, is taking bookings for its World Cup special: play some social darts, and then enjoy private viewing screens, with food and drinks delivered directly to the area you are in.
Flight Club says this means football fans keen to catch the action in the Americas can swap the standard pub experience for their own competition, along with a perfect view of the match.
The tournament runs from 11 June through to Sunday, 19 July: the first match sees Mexico take on South Africa.
When are England playing their group games in the World Cup?
England’s group L games are against Croatia at 9pm on 17 June, and Ghana on 23 June at 9pm. Their final game is at 10pm on 27 June against Panama.
When are Scotland playing their group games in the World Cup?
Scotland are in Group C and play Haiti at 2am on 14 June, Morocco at 11pm on 19 June, and at 11pm on 24 June, they take on Brazil.

There are two ways in which people can enjoy the World Cup while at Flight Club:
Play and Watch: a private viewing screen with Social Darts
Play and Watch is for groups of up to 12 who want a bit of their own competition before the pros take to the pitch.
It includes one hour of Social Darts at the oche before kick-off. Once the Social Darts competition is over, the oche screen switches to the match for private viewing.
Fans can order food and drinks directly to the playing area, so no goals are missed.
Oches can be booked with a £50 deposit, fully redeemable against food and drink.
Around the Bar and in the heart of the action
This is designed for fans who want to soak up the buzzing bar atmosphere and focus on the beautiful games.
Football fans get a reserved table in the centre of the excitement with unobstructed views of the big screens and full table service for the duration of the game.
These can be booked for a £25 deposit, which is also redeemable on food and drink.
